Africa Health Day Exhibition

AAI participated in the February 2004 Africa Health Day Exhibition with pharmaceutical companies, NGOs and foundations to promote and advocate for African health development issues, communicate and promote African health best practices and exchange experiences and share lessons learned in African health development. In a discussion moderated by H.E. Martin Andjaba, Permanent Representative of Namibia to the United Nations, Mora McLean, AAI’s President and CEO was a panelist on the panel discussion entitled “Collaboration with Civil Society and Private Sector To make a Difference in Health Development in Africa”. Her speech, Human Resources for Health: An NGO’s contribution, discussed the crucial link between human capacity building and healthcare development in Africa. Read Mora McLean’s remarks.

Other panelists were Mr. Julius E. Coles, President Africare; Dr. Stephen Joseph, AMREF U.S.A.
