Leapeetswe “Papi” Molotsane is the Former Chief Executive Officer of Telkom SA, a position he held from 2005 to 2007. Prior to joining Telkom, he was the group executive of Transnet from February 2003 to August 2005 and chief executive officer of Fedics from January 1999 to January 2003.
Mr. Molotsane has a broad-based professional background in engineering, systems, operations, sales, marketing and human resources. Mr. Molotsane is currently a director of South Africa's America's Cup Challenge and a director of Vodacom.
Previously he acted as a director of Arivia.kom, and Fike Investment (Pty) Limited. Mr. Molotsane has a bachelor’s of science in business services and a master’s of science in business administration from Hood College in Maryland. Under the AAI-administered South African Training Program (SATP), he earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology from the University of Toledo in Ohio. Mr. Molotsane also completed the Stanford Executive Programme in the United States.
